OOC BASKETBALL LEAGUE | AGES 5-17

OOC Sports Academy warmly invites you to join our 14-week basketball league designed for athletes aged 5-17. Enrolling your athlete offers an exciting opportunity that transcends mere gameplay. This league is dedicated to teaching essential skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the fundamental rules of basketball over the course of 15 weeks. Your athlete will thrive in a positive and supportive atmosphere while developing their abilities.

Every Saturday, from March 1, 2025, to May 31, 2025, your athlete will enjoy one hour of skill development during practice sessions, followed by 20 minutes of game time on game days. The game format consists of two 10-minute halves with a 2-minute halftime break. For younger participants aged 5-10, games will take place on a lowered hoop with a smaller basketball. On game days, those aged 5-7 will have equal playing time, while athletes aged 8-17 will engage in 5-on-5 play.

This league is structured to be competitive, particularly for younger participants aged 5-10, who will focus on mastering fundamentals, fostering teamwork, demonstrating sportsmanship, and understanding the rules of the game. For athletes aged 11-17, this is a fantastic opportunity to further develop their skills, especially for those who may not have made their school team, were cut, or are seeking additional practice and playing time.
